Bahamas Hurricane Relief

On September 1, 2019, a Category 5 hurricane battered the northern Bahamas for nearly three days. Hurricane Dorian was one of the most catastrophic storms inĀ  human history. The loss of life and the destruction of property is heartbreaking, and the pain and despair of the people of the Abaco and Grand Bahama islands hits close to home for our church family. Several of our members are natives of the Bahamas and have family friends who have been adversely affected by this storm. Out of our love for God and for the beautiful people of the Bahamas, we are compelled to help in any way we can. We have previously partnered with Apostle Anthony and Pastor Anne Grant of the Agape House Church in Freeport, Bahamas, during the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew in 2016. We know this church and we know its leadership and members, many of whom are related to our members. We have contributed to their hurricane relief efforts in the past, and have visited them when they have distributed to the community. We have toured areas of Grand Bahama Island that have previously been decimated by hurricanes with their leadership. They have a heart for their community and serve with integrity. We are asking you to join Family Fellowship Church as we collect cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, non-perishable food, building supplies and monetary donations. Items can be dropped off at the church on Saturday, September 28th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. These items will be personally delivered to Agape House Church in Freeport by members of Family Fellowship Church that following week. As we join with so many in meeting the needs of the Bahamian people during this time of crisis, let’s show our brothers and sisters that we love and care for them, and that they are not forgotten in their time of need.

Thank you and God bless you!

Pastor Benjamin Hall
